Today I was just thinking about how much Eliana has changed in the last 11 months. She has changed from this tiny little girl who could only lay there and look up and me...to a little girl who can move around and do what she pleases, yes she still needs me but not in the same way. What am I going to do when she is 16 (something I can't think about now). I am very excited to see who she will become in the future, but at the same time I hate that she will grow out of this stage I love this part of her life. I am sure that my friends understand this feeling who have children Eliana's age. Even though she is getting into everything right now she is also learning how things work and how to do things for herself. I love it...its really exciting...did I already mention that?
Next month Eliana will be 1 year. She will be an official toddler. My baby will no longer be a baby, but I will probably always call her my baby.

yes, i totally understand. the night before alani turned 1 i cried, thinking how different my life would be with an official "toddler" instead of an infant. you just keep growing up with them. we got eliana's invite and little pix today (actually this past week, but i just got home today to open them up) i LOVE the card, its sweet and she's beautiful! wish we could be there!
it's $1 fabric from walmart. . . i think the whole piece cost me $4. It's a great way to go if you want some simple backdrops (or tablecloths. . . you can do iron in hem for tablecloths). Anyway, i got it for a friend's baby shower and then these little pants that my mom bought alani were a perfect match to the fabric, so i just opened the front door, hung it from the table. . and well, as you can see, she doesn't really sit still anymore, but i got a quick one!
Hey Stacey! I understand! isn't it funny how we thought those first few months of them as babies would never pass. I was soooo tired from night feedings. I can't beleive they are growing up.....and I am still tired from my child who refuses to sleep. HAHA! Love you! Thanks for the invitation and pics - Nan
